Quotes from Susan
"When we are open and aware, we are conscious of "cues at the tip of the iceberg" giving us plenty of time to respond—we don’t just react to situations that would seem to otherwise surprise us. This is empowering because we are able to make decisions that are in sync with our highest good: decisions that lead us to the life we are meant to live. "

"WHY DOES IT ALWAYS SEEM LIKE I DON'T
HAVE ENOUGH TIME?"

I know you've heard this before, but we all have 24 hours in the day!  Then, why does it seem that so many people can get so much done, while others never seem to accomplish anything.  Well, there are many ways to look at this question...one is our natural "Time Management" style.

Remember, we have all been uniquely made with a natural personality style.  The good news is that we can all be "nurtured"  into a new way of being.  Let's take a look at this from a time management perspective and how we might nurture ourselves into a more effective way of utilizing our 24 hours in the day!!

FENCE SITTER - a Fence Sitter has a difficult time making decisions, often times because they are so focused on pleasing others.  This often is a time waster, as the Fence Sitter goes back and forth trying to "figure" out which decision is more favorable.   TIP FOR FENCE SITTERS: Give yourself a limited time to weigh the pros and cons of a situation.  Take a deep breath and get connected with your higher wisdom by asking, "What is the best decision for the highest good of all?"  When you hear the answer, trust yourself and take action, regardless of your fear of the outcome.

PERFECTIONIST PLUS - A Perfectionist Plus often wastes time on projects because they are trying to get an A+ on everything they do.  In some cases, that is very important.  Quality cannot be compromised.  In other cases, time might be more of the essence.  TIP FOR PERFECTIONIST PLUS: Before starting a project, ask yourself, what is more important here, time or quality?

CLIFF HANGER - A Cliff Hanger tends to wait until the last minute to address issues and projects.  Often this is because they get a burst of energy right that triggers creative juices at the last minute.  Cliff Hangers often complain that they didn't have enough time...and that's why they waited.  TIP FOR CLIFF HANGER:  Get honest!  Let others know that this is your creative process.  Just one more thing...make sure you plan for emergencies to get in the way...that is one way to guard against unneeded stress!

ALLERGIC TO DETAIL - The Allergic to Detail person dislikes tasks such as filing, balancing their checkbook, reports etc. They often complain they don't have enough time for these projects.  TIP FOR ALLERGIC TO DETAIL:  Get honest!  Let others know that this is your weakness.  Instead of pretending it's a time issue, ask for help!

HOPPER -The Hopper loves to juggle many things at one time!!!  Whether  the reason is to avoid boredom, impress others, or because they just can't say "no", a Hopper needs to be honest with themselves about how many balls they can juggle at one time so that they don't drop any balls!  TIP FOR A HOPPER: Honestly assess how many projects you can  juggle, so that you are sure to finish.
